Take a break from the family and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow parents! The SBPC offers a mix of moms nights, dads nights, and parents nights out. We plan a night out at least once a month, and activities include dinners, classes, clothing swaps, game nights, seasonal parties, and more.
SBPC plans weekly weekday playgroups, monthly weekend playgroups, and members also frequently post impromptu meet-ups on our online forums. We have groups for ages 0-5 that meet at local playgrounds, coffee shops, or in members’ homes.
Join us for one of our monthly Children’s Outings! We visit local attractions, activity centers, and children’s classes. Children’s Outings are typically on a weekend, and often feature a group discount or club subsidy.
We typically have four big bashes a year, plus many more smaller celebrations, like our quarterly New Member Welcome events and regular Pizza in the Park. Our party planners witch up the crafts, activities, and entertainers at our parties up every year, but there are a couple mainstays: at the Spring Fling party we do an egg hunt for the kids; for the Summer Picnic we reserve an outdoor venue where we can enjoy the warm weather; the Halloween party features a costume parade for the kids; and, at the Winter Holiday Party there’s an opportunity for a family photo with Santa.
SBPC invites speakers who present topics that may be of interest to local parents. Past presenters have included parenting experts, financial and estate planners, personal organizers, master gardeners, self-defense instructors, and more.
Interest Groups
Find your people within the club! SBPC supports members taking the lead on planning interest group meet-ups. We go on family hikes once a month, our book club meets every six or so, and our Mothers Navigating Careers meet-ups include opportunities for support and connection from others who truly get what you’re going through.
Every summer SBPC goes camping at a local KOA campground. It offers tons of fun activities and features for kids during the day, and parents enjoy sitting around the campfire together at night.
The SBPC believes in the importance of making our community a better place for our families. Some activities have included diaper drives for Help a Mother Out, blanket-making for Project Linus, Toy for Tots drives, blood drives, food drives, Preschool Information Nights, Dia De Los Ninos/Libros, San Bruno’s annual Posy Parade and Goblin Grotto.

Mothers Navigating Careers (On Hold)
The Mothers Navigating Careers group was established as a support network within the club for moms who are just getting back to work (whether it’s after your first or second kid), moms who are thinking of redefining or accelerating their careers, moms who are pushing out on their own, and moms who are thinking about whether or how to go back to work.

Some past events:
- A panel with San Bruno moms who are juggling careers and older children to discuss what gets easier, what changes, and how to flourish during various stages of career and family.
